VSI II Invests in the temperature-controlled logistics sector, with the acquisition of Greenyard Logistics Portugal

Vallis Sustainable Investments II Fundin partnership with the management team Vítor Figueiredo and Manuel Rodríguez, is pleased to inform that it has reached an agreement with the Belgian multinational group Greenyard (Euronext Brussels: GREEN) for the acquisition of 100% of the capital of Greenyard Logistics Portugal.

Greenyard Logistics Portugal is one of the main references in the temperature-controlled logistics sector in Portugal, providing specialized services for storage, transport and value-added operations, especially in the area of perishable food products.

Founded in 2001, Greenyard Logistics Portugal has grown significantly in recent years. It currently employs more than 280 people and operates two multi-temperature logistics platforms: one in Riachos (only 100 km from Lisbon), and a second in the North of Portugal, where it is currently expanding its capacity.

Recognized by high-quality services provided, Greenyard Logistics Portugal has been expanding its customer base and the range of services provided.

With this partnership between Vallis Sustainable Investments II Fund and the Management Team, Vítor Figueiredo and Manuel Rodríguez, who will remain in the Executive leadership of the Company, Greenyard Logistics Portugal aims to continue the organic growth strategy pursued in the domestic market, and to take advantage of existing inorganic growth opportunities, asserting itself more and more as the partner par excellence in the temperature-controlled logistics market, offering flexible and integrated logistics solutions.

The present transaction is, under the terms of the law, subject to the decision of non-opposition by the Competition Authority.
